VFD Equipment Acquisition As we all know, there comes a time when turn-out gear, SCBA, and other equipment needs to be replaced or the needs of the community have grown such that larger, new types of equipment, and more equipment are necessary. We don't need to tell you how expensive some of this gear may be, such as hoses, ladders, axes, ventilation equipment, extrication equipment, Haligan bars, spanner wrenches, plug wrenches, hose clamps, imaging cameras, SCBA, bunker gear, etc. At VFD-Funding, we can help you select and acquire this equipment. We can do this through leasing directly from manufacturers, tax-exempt leasing, federal grants, state grants, corporate grants, bond sales from your community, community fund-raising and donations, or a combination of methods.
