About Salisbury Fire Department:
The Salibury Fire Department is a combination department in Wicomico County, providing fire, EMS, and technical service to the City of Salisbury and neigboring communities.

The department operates out of three stations with 60 career personnel and approximately 100 volunteers.

The department's fleet consists of:

• five engines

• one reserve engine

• one ladder truck

• one quint

• one rescue

• two squads

• two hazmat units

• one air/light unit

• one brush unit

• five ambulances

• one fire boat

• and various utility and chief vehicles

Call totals for 2005 were 11,182 with 3,268 fire type calls and 7,914 EMS type calls.
