About Evansdale Fire
Rescue:
Evansdale Fire Rescue proudly protects 5000 people living in an area of 9
square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily
residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on
a volunteer status.
Evansdale Fire Rescue
responds to approximately 500 Fire and EMS calls annually, with the majority
being Paramedic-EMS responses. We are located in a bedroom community just
outside of Waterloo, IA and provide rescue and EMS services to many of the
surrounding cities and rural address. We take a proactive approach to fire
prevention and education, working within our school with the students in the
Fire Pals program as well as innovative ways to promote fire safety
throughout the community.
